FlowView 3.0 errors

Post by donkey »

I'm amazed that there are still no issues about the FlowView 3.0 plugin that runs under Cacti 1.2.10, although everything looks quite mature (compliments to the capable developer), several errors appear immediately after activating the plugin. I use a FGT60D with enabled collector-ip, Cacti are run on CentOS 7, I've set a filter and listener that listen from fortigate. A lot of errors and warnings appear after run "systemctl start flow-capture.service" in cacti.log, see in attached file:

Grab a fresh copy from github.com. It'll fix the sizeof() issue. However, if you still get the unpack errors, then you will need to generate a tcpdump of the flow data during when you are experiencing these errors and forward along to developers at cacti dot net.

The developers are using MikroTiks that support a very strait forward IPFIX and V5 and V9 flows. In the mean time, unless you are tracking IPv6, you can switch to V5 and get the same output.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
